Beginning
After graduating from Changhua Normal University's Art Department, Wei delved into digital drawing and started teaching and taking on projects. In 2014, he co-founded a studio with Fiona, and in 2020, they established a company. With over a decade of commercial collaboration, Wei has been involved in various projects, including film animation, advertising, textbook cover and interior illustrations, game character and scene design, illustrations for various publishers, and managing image licensing.

Since 2013, Weichen Studio has been dedicated to art outsourcing projects, collaborating with various partners, including game companies, film animation studios, individuals, and commercial commissions. Our portfolio ranges from cute illustrations for elementary school textbooks to realistic CG styles.
In 2013, Weichen Studio's founder, Wei Chang, authored a personal tutorial book titled “Fantasy Illustration: Wei Chang Journey with Painter & Photoshop,” published by Grandtech. In 2015, a collaborative tutorial book with Li-Chen, titled “The Imaginative World of Painter 2015 Brushes,” was published by Gotop. These books allow readers to learn techniques for various artistic styles.
Since 2020, Weichen Studio, driven by Wei Chang's educational aspirations, has aimed to provide students worldwide with the freedom to learn without being constrained by geographical or time limitations. The founding of the “Weichen Studio” educational platform reflects the desire to assist students in mastering various stages of the artistic process. Whether it's creating cute and simple illustrations or developing a unique portfolio with a distinctive style, the goal is to empower students to independently produce art and turn their interests into a practical skill—more than just a hobby. The vision extends to transforming hobbies into a second profession or even a full-fledged career.

Wei Chang brings over a decade of professional artistic experience, spanning film animation, gaming, publishing, and promotional artwork. He has delivered lectures at national and high schools, as well as colleges, and has also offered courses on online learning platforms such as YOTTA and TIBAME. Additionally, Wei Chang has accumulated a wealth of exhibition experience, participating in events like the Taiwan Comic Festival, Taiwan Originals Expo, and exhibitions at the Art Department of Changhua Normal University. With a commitment to sharing his professional expertise and teaching abilities, Wei Chang aims to provide more individuals with the opportunity to learn and master professional digital drawing techniques.
